Rumour mills have been working overtime ever since it emerged that Porsche plans to introduce a new SUV to play baby brother to the high selling Cayenne. Christened as the Porsche Macan, the new car has the potential to become one of the most successful Porsche cars ever and the Macan was recently spotted being unloaded from a truck in Northern Sweden.
The car wore subtle camouflage when being unloaded and this has to be one of the most revealing pics of the Macan ever.
The Macan will share a lot with the next gen Audi Q5. In spite of the platform and component sharing, Porsche claims that the Macan will be a lot sportier than the new gen Q5. The disparity will arise from Porsche using a different chassis setup, different dynamic control systems and bigger brakes.
Macan will however, share the all wheel drive system with the Q5. Same applies to a range of petrol and diesel motors that include a supercharged V6 gasoline and turbocharged V6 diesel.
The new Porsche Macan goes on sale towards the end of this year.
