- 2014 Ford Classic sales commence on January 22
Ford India today formally announced the launch of its 2014 Ford Classic sedan at an attractive price point, which starts at INR 4.99 lakh (ex showrooms Delhi).
Starting January 22, the entire Ford Classic range will be available between Rs. 4.99 lakh and Rs. 7.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Thanks to the new pricing, the Ford Classic becomes one of the most value-for-money propositions in its segment today.
Ford has been bolstering its presence in key volume segments of the Indian market since some time now. The company has been working to make its models more compelling and the manufacturer says that its strengthened portfolio has helped it improve efficiencies.
“At Ford India, we are committed to deliver on customer expectations by continuous improvements in the value proposition of our products,” said Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India. “In line with our global brand promise of ‘Go Further’, Ford India has repositioned the Ford Classic by optimizing efficiencies.”
The Ford Classic is available with two engine options- a 1.6 litre Duratec petrol and a 1.4 litre TDCi Duratorq diesel.
Features available include- keyless entry, Bluetooth audio with speed sensing volume control, front fog lamps, rear defogger, turn indicators on ORVMs, drive away locks, ABS, EBD and driver & front passenger airbags among others.
