It can be observed that the Vespa S is approximately INR 4300 pricier than the Vespa VX.
The new Piaggio Vespa S is powered by the same 125 cc, 3v engine that powers the Vespa VX. On asking the dealer, we were told that the motor has exactly the same power and fuel efficiency as before. However, the engine has been re-tuned for more refinement. The engine has a max power of 10.06 PS and peak torque of 10.6 Nm.
Visual changes include-
- Rectangular headlamp
- New ORVMs
- Vespa S badge at rear
- Revised taillight
Also, the Vespa S gets a different instrument console and a cup holder. Also, the seat is claimed to be more comfortable. Standard features include a front disc brake and painted mag wheels.
The Vespa S can be bought in four colors:
- Orange
- Red
- Black
- White
