It seems like Nissan India is definitely not in a mood to rest on its laurels after having launched the 2013 Micra facelift. Coming our way could be a Nissan Sunny facelift, complete with the Micra’s new front fascia, additional features and possibly a price cut.

It is being said that the Sunny facelift would bring along with a limited edition model that will come feature packed and would slightly different exteriors.

As is obvious, the Sunny facelift will get new headlamps, a new grille, a new front bumper and some chrome accents from the 2013 Micra. On the inside, the car could get an additional glovebox and better plastics. Also expect the car to get a new XV Premium trim level, which will come equipped with a reverse camera and four airbags.

The car would continue being powered by same engines, which means that 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines would continue being on duty. The XV petrol variant will come with option of a CVT transmission.

Nissan could also launch an entry-level version of the Sunny, much on the lines of the Micra Active. The Sunny Active would be priced bang on in the Dzire Tour territory and would get lesser features, smaller wheels and a detuned petrol engine.

The entry-level Sunny Active will get basic creature comforts such as power steering and air conditioning.

Official word on the Sunny facelift an Sunny Active launch hasn’t yet come out but we expect the refreshed Sunny line up to arrive during this festive season. Stay tuned for more.
