We were earlier expecting TVS Motors to relaunch the Victor brand this year. However, TVS chose to launch the Phoenix 125 instead and the launch of the new Victor has been postponed to next year. The new TVS Victor gets an all new styling to seamlessly merge with the modern times. The original Victor had a 110cc four stroke engine with a unique dual ignition map and offered a good mix of power and fuel economy. We are expecting similar performance from the new Victor. TVS Victor enjoys good brand recognition in India and TVS Motors will be betting big on the brand image that the original Victor has created.
The New TVS Victor will battle it out against the likes of Honda Shine and Twister. It may be noted that TVS is fast losing out to other bike makers and was recently pushed back to fourth spot on bikes sales chart. TVS will surely have high hopes with its new products and it will be interesting to see if indigenously developed TVS products would give a tough fight to almost invisible Honda.
