Mercedes Benz is celebrating 10 million C Class on road worldwide. On this occasion, the Indian subsidiary of the premium car marker, Mercedes Benz India, will launch a new commemorative edition of the entry level sedan in its product portfolio for the country. Billed as the Mercedes C Class Celebratory Edition, the new car will be launched on November 12th.
We aren’t expecting the C Class Celebratory Edition to sport any mechanical changes. This means that the car would come with same engine options as the regular models. The models on offer would include- the C200 CGI petrol, the C220 CDI diesel and C250 CDI diesel.
However, the upcoming Mercedes C Class Celebratory Edition will get some minor visual updates in the form of slightly different front grille, new badges and probably a new set of alloys. On the inside, the car is expected to feature a bespoke upholstery and a couple of Celebratory Edition badges. The car is being expected to come with a longer equipment list which would include new features such as push button start and stop and an updated In Car Audio system.
As we said earlier, Â apart from these ‘not so significant’ changes, the car will be very much unchanged.
The Mercedes C Class Celebratory Edition is expected to command a premium of approx INR 50-60000 over regular variants.
