Following several speculations and teasers, the new Kia GT4 Stinger has finally made an appearance through these leaked official images.
These new Kia GT4 Stinger Concept images surfaced online some time back and should keep us happy before we can greet the new 2+2 concept at NAIAS 2014. These leaked Kia GT4 Sting Concept images show that the car has a bold exterior design, rather futuristic looking headlights, stylish 5*2 spoke alloy wheels and some vents on the hood and rear fenders.
The latest design study from Kia comes draped in a shade of “Ignition Yellow”, which does a good job with highlighting the car’s well sculpted features. The most striking of these include the bold wheel arches and the large glass tailgate. Akin to the Audi Sports brake concept, the new Kia GT4 Stinger sports a shooting brake design.
The new Kia GT4 Stinger will make its public debut at the NAIAS 2014 later today. The 2+2 seater concept is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injected (T-GDI) four-cylinder engine that has a max power of 315 horsepower. The motor comes mated to a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission that sends all the power to rear wheels.
The Kia GT4 Stinger boasts of a custom chassis and an independent double wishbone suspension setup. The car rides on tasty looking 20-inch aluminum wheels that have carbon fiber inserts for strength and weight reduction. Braking duties are courtesy Brembo Gran Tourismo two-piece cross-drilled rotors with four-piston calipers.
