New Hyundai Sonata Launch on 21 March

Honda guys should surely be a worried lot. What with Hyundai Motors India Ltd. readying itself to launch the Accord rivalling 2012 Hyundai Sonata Fluidic. It may be noted that the Fluidic Sonata will be brought through Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route and this simply means that Hyundai can price the car very aggressively. Now, the bad news is that Hyundai is not planning to bring the diesel version of the upcoming Sonata anytime soon. This is not too illogical as Fluidic Sonata diesel simply does not exists in any of Hyundai markets.

Powering the Hyundai Sonata Fluidic will be a 2.4 Liter GDI petrol engine that pumps out a peak power of 200 Bhp and churns out max. torque of 255 Nm. The car will offer allow the buyer to choose between a 6 speed manual and automatic transmission.

The new Sonata is loaded with features and should impress the prospective customers if priced right. Here’s a list of some of the key features of the car

  1. seriously one need to get a bigger engine and try it out again.. i.e. somethin like the dodge tomahawk.. although even it has to be modified else the driver is off..
