Now, what we have here on this page are some Hyundai Eon 1.0 Images, taken at a Hyundai India dealership. As these new Hyundai Eon 1.0 images reveal, the only visual difference between the 0.8 L and the 1.0 L variant is that of the badges, with the Eon 1.0 getting a 1.0 badge to pronounce its higher engine displacement.

As per what we’ve been hearing, the new Hyundai Eon 1.0 variant is available in mid-spec Magna trim level only and the features list on this car includes- AC, power steering, front power windows, immobilizer, keyless entry and full wheel covers for 13 inch wheels.
Powering the Eon 1.0 is a 1.0 liter petrol engine that is like to have come from the Euro-spec Hyundai i10.This engine has a max power of 65 bhp and peak torque of 9.7 kgm. The new Hyundai Eon 1.0 is capable of dismissing the 100 kmph figure from standstill in less than 14 seconds. The new model has a top speed of close to 160 kmph.
The recently launched Hyundai Eon 1.0 liter Magna price is pegged at INR 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It may be noted that the Eon has so far not really managed to leave a dent on its rivals from Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. With the advent of the Eon 1.0 now, the Alto K10 finally seems to have got a worthy rival and now, it will be all the more interesting to see if the Eon can finally give some sleepless nights to the boffins at MSIL.
