According to Chinese automotive portal Auto 163, the Celesta derives its styling cues from both, its elder sibling the Elantra as well as the younger sibling, the Verna. Dimension wise, the model measures 4510 mm in length, 1756 mm in width and 1470 mm in height while the wheelbase stands at 2650 mm. Powering the Celesta will be a 1.6 litre four cylinder petrol engine rated at 120 hp and 155 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to either a six speed manual or a six speed automatic transmission.

Visually, a few features of the model can vary based on the trim level. For example, the trapezoidal grill in the top-end trim receives horizontal chrome slats, while the lower trims are equipped with a black mesh grille with silver garnish. Similarly, the top-end trim will receive a projector headlamp setup with LED DRLs while the lower trims will have regular headlamp setup. The base trim will receive steel wheels, while the mid-level trim will feature 15 inch alloy wheels, and the top-end trim will benefit from 16 inch alloys. Other details are not available at the moment, but its unlikely that the Celesta would be launched in India anytime soon.
