New BMW 3 Series GT facelift launched in India, priced at INR 43.30 lakh (Ex-Delhi)

German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW launched the new 3 Series GT in India with a price tag starting at INR 43.30 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The model was officially unveiled earlier this year in June prior to its showcase at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The 3 Series GT facelift will be available in the following trim levels – 320d GT Sport Line, 320d GT Luxury Line and 320i GT Luxury Line.

Cosmetic upgrades to the model include LED headlamps for the high as well as the low beam and a redesigned bumper upfront. On either side, the model now comes equipped with three new designs for the 17 inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the new 3 Series GT receives L shaped LED tail lamps, a sportier bumper and a retractable spoiler for increased downforce. Also on offer would be two new shades: Arctic Grey and Jatoba Metallic.

Moving on to the interiors, the BMW 3 Series GT facelift features a few extra chrome bits around the controls, new wood elements, colours and leather trims across the cabin. The boot, which boasts of 520 litres of space, can now be increased by up to 33 litres, courtesy of the cargo function.

Powering the new 3 Series GT is a 2.0-litre four cylinder diesel engine and a 2.0-litre four cylinder petrol engine. The former produces a power output of 190 hp and of 400 Nm of torque while the latter produces 252 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Both the engines help the model to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 7.7 seconds and 6.1 seconds respectively.

  • 320d Gran Turismo Sport Line: INR 43.3 lakh
  • 320d Gran Turismo Luxury Line: INR 46.5 lakh
  • 320i Gran Turismo Luxury Line: INR 47.5 lakh
