Earlier this week, Chevrolet released a teaser for the new Spark which will be debuting at the Seoul and New York Auto Show on April 2nd. Now, the interior image of the hatchback has surfaced on the cyberspace which shows the dashboard in all its glory.
As you can see in the image, the funky looking motorcycle inspired instrument cluster seen on the current Chevrolet Spark has been replaced with a traditional unit housed inside the dashboard. The model in the images is an automatic variant.
Powering the new 2016 Spark will be a 1.o liter 3 pot naturally aspirated petrol engine which will churn out 75 PS of power. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a 5 speed manual transmission and a 5 speed automatic. Rumors have hinted that a 1.0-liter turbo petrol with close to 100 PS of power and more than 160 Nm of twist will also be available, but since GM hasn’t revealed the specifications officially, we cannot be sure about this.

- Heated front seats
- Sun roof
- Park assist
- Heated steering wheel
Chevrolet has already sold more than 1.1 million units of the Spark globally since its inception. The model is currently available in as many as 71 markets worldwide. Expect the new gen Spark / Beat to make its Indian debut in 2016 whether or not the Amber based model replaces it completely.
