The new 2015 Volkswagen Polo facelift will come with new front and rear bumpers, headlights and taillights with revised detailing, new exterior color options, refreshed interior design with a three spoke steering, climate control and a new audio system with Bluetooth telephony and steering mounted controls. As is obvious, these updates will be available with the hotter GT variants as well.
Apart from the aforementioned changes, Volkswagen will now be equipping the GT TDI with a 1.5 liter TDI motor instead of the current 1.6 liter TDI. This engine will also be offered on the facelifted Vento. The motor will be tuned for better power and torque and will continue to be offered only with a manual transmission. The powertrain on the GT TSI will continue to be the same 1.2 liter TSI turbo petrol motor which will come mated to the quick shifting seven-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic).
