We reported in detail when the Renault Koleos facelift was teased by the French car maker. Now, the prices for the facelifted SUV have been revealed. The car will make its Indian debut at the Auto Expo.

The entry level Renault Koleos facelift will be available with a 2.0 liter diesel engine and a 4×2 setup. This engine is rated at 148 bhp and 32.6 kgm of peak torque, and will be mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. Power will be sent to the front wheels and will be offered with the manual transmission only.
The prices of the new Renault Koleos (ex-showroom Mumbai) are:
- 4×2 MT – 22.36 lakhs INR
- 4×4 MT – 25.19 lakhs INR
- 4×4 AT – 26.25 lakhs INR
The 4×4 variants of the Renault Koleos facelift will come with an upgraded 2.0 liter diesel engine, which develops 171 bhp of max power and 36.7 kgm of peak torque. This engine will be mated to a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic transmission.

Earlier, the Renault Koleos was available only with 4WD and automatic transmission. Also, being a CBU, the car was considered expensive by many. Now, to reduce the prices, Renault has started local assembly of the 2.0-liter (171 bhp version) M9R engine at its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu.
The 2WD variant will miss out on features like ESP, hill start and descent controls. While the 4WD will be offered with 6 airbags, the 2WD will get only 2 airbags. Even the eight speaker BOSE audio system, highlighted by various badges on the car, will be absent in the 2WD variant. Instead, it will be offered with a six speaker Arkamys sound system.
