We brought you the images and details when the 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2014 last month. Now, according to reports, the new 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe India launch will happen on April 3rd, 2014.
The BMW M6 Gran Coupe is the motorsport avatar of the 6 Series Gran Coupe sedan that has already been on sale in India. The M6 Gran Coupe locks horns with the Audi RS7 and the Mercedes CLS63 AMG and comes with minor visual updates along with a stonker of an engine.
Talking about the styling upgrades on the car, the car boasts of a sporty body kit that comprises of carbon fibre roof, 19-inch alloy wheels, revised bumpers and flared wheel arches. The car also gets M quad exhausts and a diffuser.
Powering the M6 Gran Coupe is the same 4.4-litre V8 motor from the M5. This V8 mill churns out a max power of 568 PS and peak torque of 678 Nm. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe completes the 0-100 kmph dash in a scant 4.1 seconds. The car has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. Power is sent to the wheels via a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox.
The BMW M6 Gran Coupe will come to us via CBU route. The 6 series Gran Coupe costs more than 1 crore INR, and we expect the M6 Gran Coupe will be priced at around INR 1.5 Crores mark.
