Bajaj Auto after pausing the production of the Platina, has re- launched the 125cc offspring today in the market. The electric start version has been priced at Rs. 36, 646 (ex- showroom Delhi) and comes with a modified powertrain unit and donning few cosmetic changes.

The 125cc is housed with a 5- speed gearbox and the engines is believed to produce 8.5PS of max power at 7000 rpm and 10NM of max torque at 4000 rpm. The earlier Platina came with a 4- speed gearbox and developed 9.5 PS of max power and 10.85 Nm of max torque. This seems the company has tuned down the bike in order to churn out more mileage.
