Nebula HS

Quick Review: Nebula HS 800. Image Gallery & All the Details

We, at Motoroids, have reviewed a wide spectrum of vehicles which ranges from 100cc automatic scooters to some serious performance cars like the Mercedes Benz AMG C63.

However, on certain occasions, we find ourselves spending time with vehicles that have next to nothing to do with the mainstream Indian car & bike market.

We recently reported in detail about the new range of high end ATVs from Nebula Automotives Pvt Ltd. We spent an entire afternoon with these new vehicles and will be publishing a series of reviews of the latest from Nebula.

First in the line is the all new Nebula HS 800. The HS 800 is a four wheeled, two seater All Terrain Vehicle that certainly looks the part. Powered by a V Twin, 800cc motor, the HS 800 has a CVT transmission and a max speed of 70 kmph. As is expected from a vehicle in this genre, the Nebula HS 800 has a four wheel drive system and is capable of some serious off roading.

The Nebula HS 800 surely looks like it means business and features a roll cage, foldable windscreen, a 3 spoke sports steering, sports seats, off road footwear and a tow hook positioned below the front grille.  At the back, the Nebula HS 800 gets a small loading bay to dump in your camping gear and most of the other stuff you would fancy carrying along to your off road destination.

Our only grouse is that the five spoke chrome wheels together with flavourless stickers on the body are reminiscent of cheap toys that come from one of our neighbours.

However, HS 800 is the kind of vehicle where function follows form and the new ATV feels like it will last most of the rough terrain that is thrown at it.

On the inside, the ATV comes with a plastic dashboard that gets a centrally mounted speedometer console which sits right above the headlights & foglights switches. 2WD and 4WD modes can be selected using a gear lever positioned between the two racing seats.

We tested the Nebula HS 800 on terrain ranging from tarmac to mud. While we failed to undertake an extreme off road test in the HS 800, we are pretty sure that the ATV can at least be taken to a beach party or to explore the countryside around your farm-house.

Nebula isn’t targeting the most serious off roading enthusiasts with its products. Instead, their ATVs focus more on those looking to buy an ATV for recreational activities.

Priced at INR 16,50,000, the Nebula HS 800, albeit expensive, is a great recipe for FUN.
