A second year B.Com student, Prem didn’t have any experience or knowledge about automobile engineering but his passion for the subject led him to what he stands by today, his own two seater buggy. Learning from the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) videos, the young lad built most of the model by himself except for the engine and transmission that were sourced from a second hand Hyundai Accent.

Prem built the chassis himself with the help of a welding machine, followed by a complete paintjob which took him about four months to complete from scratch.  Coming from a simple background, the total cost of the project set him back by Rs. 2.50 lakh.
