Popular Jap car maker, Mitsubishi released the first image of the 2013 Outlander. Accompanying the image are a few details of the upcoming model of the cross over. It is being told that a 2.2 litre MIVEC Clean Diesel engine will be offered with the vehicle. The new model looks very unlike the present version which shares the front fascia with the current gen Lancer sedan.
The 2013 Outlander will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and should come to our market towards the end of this year. We have always liked the crossover from Mitsubishi and launching a diesel variant in India simply means that the Outlander might eat into the sales of Chevrolet Captiva and Toyota Fortuner.
