Soon after slashing down the prices of the Cedia Sports, Mitsubishi India has now come up with the new Cedia Select which has been priced at Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
The variant comes with features like the portable 7-inch Mapmyindia android-based tablet with 3G connectivity, in-built map and real time navigation system, and retains the 4-speaker Kenwood DVD player with 6.1 inch touch-screen from the Cedia Sport, This unit is GPS compatible and has both Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The In Car Entertainment (ICE) system’s screen will also be mated to the new rear-view camera.
The engine remains the same 2.0 liter 115 PS motor that has won a lot of appreciation for its smooth performance. On the inside, the car gets a new three-spoke black leather wrapped steering wheel, oyster leather seat covers and two-tone beige interiors with beige floor mats. On the outside, the car gets new 12-spoke alloy wheels, high-intensity halogen headlamps and horizontal-slat matte black grille.
The 2012 Cedia Select comes with three colours options- White Speed, Black Flash and Rally Red. The sedans from Mitsubishi are not doing well in the market and the latest move looks as carmaker’s attempt to grab a bigger chunk of the sales in the segment.
