If it was Kanyakumari, where the male protagonist and his little dinghy found shore in the movie ‘Life of Pi’, what would Richard Parker, the Tiger do to cool himself off and his tan? He would probably find his way to Kashmir and maybe carry Pi on his back too. This could be an idea for the sequel, where Pi and Richard Parker set off from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, taming some of the toughest terrain they encounter on their way. Triumph Motorcycles India has achieved something similar. A rider astride the Triumph Tiger 800 XC has managed to leave pug marks that extend from the Southern Most tip of India, right till it’s neck.
