Meru cabs has introduced an all new mobile app through which you can now book a cab with a single touch, track it and confirm your booking, up to 7 days in advance. It will also feature a Mobile wallet, which can be used for payment of the trip and also be used at select outlets of third party retailers. Customers can register themselves and load money into the app via net banking, credit or debit cards. The amount can then be used at the single click of a button from the app to make payments for journeys.
The Meru cabs app also has certain novel features which includes, tracking the customer’s location and sending an alert in case of distress and if you are in an unknown city, it picks up your GPS location and picks you up from wherever you are. Before you book, live positioning of cabs can be tracked on a real-time basis, while customers can track their cab’s estimated time of arrival based on the car’s location on GPS.
