Mercedes CLA Scale Model Reveals More Design Details

We recently posted the official pics of upcoming Mercedes CLA Class that is scheduled to make its first public appearance at the 2013 North American International Auto Show next month.

Now, we can get an even better idea of the upcoming car’s design details by looking at the images of a 1:18 Diecast CLA model that have surfaced on the web world.

The soon to be unveiled Mercedes CLA will be position below the C Class sedan to become the most affordable Mercedes sedan in the car maker’s line up. Underpinning the CLA is the much publicized MFA architecture which is also in use in the new A and B Class cars.

Talking about the interiors, the CLA seems to have picked up many bits from the A and B Class parts bin.

The Mercedes CLA will be available in 4 engine variants- CLA 180 with 122 bhp, CLA 200 with 156 bhp, CLA 250 with 211 bhp and a diesel CLA 220 CDI with 170 bhp.

The driving enthusiasts can also opt for the 354bhp-450Nm CLA 45 AMG variant.

The new car will be sold in India in a price bracket of INR 18-20 lakhs.

This means that the cheapest Mercedes Benz sedan ever will be seen battling it out against the Honda Accord and the likes.
