McLaren P1 Performance Figures Revealed

mclaren p1 top speed

We finally have the performance figures of the new McLaren P1 supercar that we recently posted about. The spiritual successor to the McLaren F1 will accelerate from 0-100kmph in “less than three seconds” (!!) and will have an electronically limited top speed of almost 350kmph. Now is not that F-A-S-T?

This is not all as the car can accelerate from from 0 to 200km/h in less than seven seconds and from 0-300km/h in 17 seconds. It may be noted that the 0-300kmph figure for the P1 is nine seconds lesser than that of the McLaren F1.

There will only be 375 units of P1 that will be ever produced and the car will cost £866,000.

The special compound tires on Pirelli have been developed specially for the P1 and the brakes on the new car are similar to those on a GT3 racer.

The 903bhp rear-wheel-drive hypercar is expected to weigh around 1,500kg and will compete with the upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder and the Ferrari Enzo successor.

  1. all of them are losing their souls in the process….and disappointed to see MCLAREN joining this Bandwagon..

  2. Guess all the manufacturers are trying to put all sorts of e-Nannies so that it would be more driveable through the traffic to the nearest shopping complex rather than on high speed bowls or race track…

  3. why the heck MCLAREN has put a limiter on it???!!! they never did that with their F1 … technology has improved 100 folds atleast from the time F1 was launched.. was expecting it to be the ultimate hypercar, be it in terms of acceleration or top speed…ALAS 🙁
