Maruti Suzuki has begun preparations for the launch of its highly anticipated compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza, with the models reaching dealerships for training purposes. The training for dealerships pan India would be completed by the end of the month before its launch that will take place next month. Now, certain spy images have surfaced online that reveal the ZDI+ variant of the Vitara Brezza at a dealership.

These spy images of the Vitara Brezza have most likely been taken during the dealership training as the background roughly suggests. The Vitara Brezza in the images is the top of the line variant from Maruti Suzuki and sports a shade of grey. The first thing one can notice is that this particular example does not feature the optional contrast coloured roof as seen in other variants, such as the ones displayed at the Auto Expo.

The top-end variant will come equipped with features such as projector headlamps and LED DRLs, 16 inch alloy wheels, integrated spoiler, integrated turn indicators on the ORVMs and keyless entry. For the interiors, the Vitara Brezza will come with a smart-play infotainment system, reverse parking camera, cruise control, navigation and a height adjustable driver seat.

Powering the ZDI+ variant of the Vitara Brezza will be a 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine that produces a peak power output of 90 PS while the maximum torque stands at 200 Nm. This engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. Safety features such as a driver airbag will come as standard through the complete range.

Although there is no official word from Maruti Suzuki regarding the AMT variant, we expect it to arrive sometime later. A petrol powered engine, although not available during the launch, may be introduced later during its life-cycle. Dealers have started accepting bookings of the Vitara Brezza with a token amount of Rs. 21,000. Deliveries are slated to begin towards the end of March this year after the launch of the Vitara Brezza. This compact SUV from Maruti Suzuki would come with a price tag of Rs 7-10 lakhs while its rivals will include the Ford Ecosport and the Mahindra TUV300 among others.
