Maruti Suzuki has introduced a limited edition Ertiga to commemorate the sale of 1, 50,000 units of the MPV in India. The MPV has been spruced up with cosmetic upgrades as well as additional kit. Maruti Suzuki has equipped the limited edition Ertiga with visual upgrades such as 10-spoke alloy wheels, roof-mounted spoilers, a sleek chrome grille, chrome door handles as well as new body decals. Extra equipment includes an upgraded audio system and a rear parking sensor with display. The car also gets black and beige dual tone interiors, fake wood trim for the dashboard and limited edition floor mats. The limited edition car will be available in a new Pearl Blaze Blue paint shade in addition to white and silver shades.
There are no mechanical changes and the limited edition car is powered by the same 89bhp 1.3-litre diesel engine and 94bhp 1.4-litre petrol motor. Besides these cosmetic upgrades, the limited edition Ertiga will be mechanically identical to the regular car. The Ertiga is available with two engine options- a 1.4-litre K-Series petrol and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel. The former produces 93bhp and 130Nm of torque while the latter produces 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both the engines power the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The Limited Edition model will be available in Petrol, Diesel and CNG options
