Maruti Suzuki Eeco Smiles limited edition variant launched

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco can safely be credited with successfully taking the mantle from the ageing Omni van. The Eeco is basically a re-badged Versa with a smaller engine and minus a lot of features.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has now launched a limited edition variant of the Eeco. The Maruti Suzuki Eeco Smiles Limited Edition variant comes with 7 new features that cost INR 9,490. The Eeco Smiles can be bought with either of the two seating options: 5 seater and 7 seater layout. Powering the Eeco van is a 1.2 Liter four cylinder engine that has been derived from the G13 1.3 litre Suzuki engine that powered the Versa and the Esteem. The Eeco’s 1.2 litre engine has a max power output of 73 Bhp and a peak torque rating of 101 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox that transmits the power to rear wheels. The van can be bought in petrol or petrol+cng engine variant..

The new features on the new Maruti Suzuki Eeco Smiles limited edition variant are-

* Double DIN Stereo with USB connectivity

* 15 inch speakers

* Wheel Caps

* Dual tone seat covers

* Floor mats

* Mud flaps

* “Smiles” graphics and decals

Other than the new features, the car comes with power steering and air conditioning that are also being offered with the standard variants.

The prices of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco start at INR 3.05 lakh rupees (for the 5 seater base variant) and go all the way to INR 3.22 lakhs (for the 7 seater fully loaded variant). As mentioned above, the Smiles limited edition can be bought for the additional sum of INR 9490.
