The Celerio is making waves with its Automated Manual Trasmission, also called EZ Drive by Maruti Suzuki. Auto gear shift is Suzuki’s newly developed automated manual transmission, equipped with the Intelligent Shift Control Actuator, an electric-hydraulic actuator that automatically performs clutch and shift operations. It has best of both manual and automatic transmissions, shifting time is shortened compared to conventional gear shifting.

This model is being offered in six variants VXI (AMT), LXI (AMT), VXI, LXI, ZXI and ZXI (O).
