While we always knew that an automatic variant of Mahindra XUV500 is in the pipeline, it has emerged that the Mahindra XUV500 Automatic would take two years to hit the market. Also, there is no plan of an automatic transmission for the recently launched Quanto.
A 4WD variant of the Quanto, which was showcased at the Sao Paulo Auto Show and is powered by a 2.2L mHawk engine will go on sale in export markets in the future.
