Official word is out that the Mahindra Veirto Vibe hatchback will be launched in India on June 5. We have been pretty regulars with posting about the Verito Vibe hatchback and are eagerly waiting to see if the new car would be able to give sleepless nights to the boffins at MSIL and HMIL.
As can be seen here in the pics, the upcoming car would have an exterior styling that could take time to grow on people. Much of this can be attributed to unusually wide C pillars that don’t let rear-end design win any design contests. Our belief is that the car looks like a hastily truncated version of the Verito sedan. The car does have a hint of Ford Focus near the C pillars but it is tough to guess if the car buying lot would appreciate the car’s overall design.
The Verito Vibe will be a Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20 adversary and the first batch of Verito Vibe cars has already reached Mahindra dealerships across the country. The Verito Vibe hatchback could be priced in the vicinity of INR 5.5-6 lakhs. Powering the Verito Vibe will be the tried and tested 1.5 litre Renault K9K diesel engine that powers many cars in our market.

The Verito Vibe marks our entry in the high volume sub 4 metre segment. While developing this product we have paid particular attention to making this car look different and we are sure that it will appeal to customers with its young and sporty looks and that too without compromising the benefits which our existing Verito has to offer. “

vibe looks like a chopped version of logan. no one can be impressed by this design . but only the low price of the car can make some sale other wise it will struggle badly. I have a logan that’s why only I know how much its parts are very costly its parts cost equivalent to 15-20 lakh car parts it is big reason the failure of logan and verito, if this story will be for the vibe then this car will struggle very badly.
Excited? Seriously?! I’ll be more excited waiting for a hearse van to take me on my final journey that look at this piece of $hyte!
Vibe reminds me “Jugaad”, which runs in rural Rajasthan and Kutch… :p
