Mahindra and Mahindra is surely riding high on the success of its latest SUV- The XUV500. With this new car being even more successful than the Scorpio and Xylo, Mahindra surely knows that its future is dependent on its SUVs. Mahindra is now planning to launch two new exciting SUVs that will cater to the fast emerging compact SUV/MUV segment. We have been reporting about Mahindra coming up with a Mini Xylo since quite somet time now. As the name suggests, the car will a price tag that will udercut that of the Xylo by a fair margin. The compact MUV from Mahindra is being designed and developed at M&M’s Chakan facility near Pune. It is being said that the the car will be priced around Rs.5 lakhs. A spy image on Rohit L Choudhari’s facebook page shows a tad boxy design with the spare tire mounted on the tailgate. Also, the spare wheel cover looks more stylish than the conventional covers we have seen. Â
