Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced a limited edition Hayabusa named the “Hayabusa Z”. The limited edition superbike will be available in two tone colours – Blue and silver & White and silver paint scheme, and will receive the Yoshimura R77J slip on silencer. The R-77 muffler’s front cap is MIG-welded, while the end cap is riveted, using high-end 304-L polished stainless steel rivets and bands.
The Suzuki Hayabusa Z will be priced at Rs 16.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), nearly Rs 25,000 higher than the standard model. The power plant though will remain the similar four-stroke, 1,340cc, in-line, four-cylinder engine that produces 197bhp at 10,200rpm, with maximum torque output of 15.7kgm at 6,200rpm. Buyers would also receive special gifts on purchase of the motorcycle which include a scale model (1:48) of the Hayabusa and a racing calendar.
Speaking about this limited edition Hayabusa Z, Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President of Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited, said, “The Yoshimura Slip-on R-77J carbon-end exhaust addition to the legendary Hayabusa is a modification that has been on the wish list of Indian biking affcionados for a long time. We are extremely proud to have done this for the Hayabusa, reinforcing our commitment to the valued Indian rider.”

Further to what Sriram has written about the Hayabusa, I’d like to mention what I had read in a book on motorcycles. It seems before the ‘busa was launched in 2002, the fastest street motorcycle till then was the Honda Blackbird. The Hayabusa hit 200 mph! (320 kmph). In the Japanese language hayabusa means peregrine falcon. In Nature, the hayabusas feed on the slower flying blackbirds!!!

suzuki hayabusa, the name justifies that it is beyond the limit,neither me nor anyone who is a bike lover can describe more about HAYABUSA…… its power, its style,its speed,its stamina is AWESOME,whatever will I explain about it is less about what it is,at last I will say HAYABUSA is HAYABUSA…………
