Like us, we’re sure there are thousands of Batman fans who have always fancied of a Batmobile in their garage. Though one couldn’t really buy it off the block and fabricating one cost a gentleman called Bob Dullam in excess of US$ 50,000. Disheartening indeed, but Lego has just managed to realize your dreams of owning a batmobile.
Now not only can you own a Batman Tumbler Batmobile, but have that sweet sense of achievement of building one of your very own. Lego has unveiled its addition to the Ultimate Collectors range- the 76023 Lego Batman Tumbler set. Comprising of a total 1869 pieces, the Lego Batman Tumbler comes with adjustable wings and a lovely detailed interior (just have a look at those pretty little screens inside).
Putting together all of those 1869 interlocking pieces- a fully assembled Batman Tumbler Batmobile proportions measure 15 inches long and 9 inches wide- quite big that one. If that wasn’t all- Lego has also included mini figures of Batman and the Joker (Heath Ledger version) which rather look cute.
Talking on the launch- the Lego set would be unveiled at Comic-Con in San Diego on 23rd of July and would be available for sale for US$ 200 through Lego’s online channel and physical outlets from September 2014 onwards. Lego VIP members get a special privilege of acquiring the kit from 18th August- much before to the public unveiling. Well, we’re fine waiting till its official date and would love to grab hold of one.
