It is a well known fact that Tata Motors is busy developing a comprehensive facelift for the Vista hatchback. . The Vista facelift refresh has been caught on test on several occasions and what we have here today is yet another set of spy pics of the updated car. The latest spy pics give us a sneak peek into the interiors of the car. The photographer says that the interiors were highly camouflaged. However, from whatever can be made from the pics, it seems like the interiors won’t be too different from that of the current car. We do expect them to be made out from better quality materials though.
The 2014 Tata Vista facelift is being expected to make its public debut at the upcoming edition of Indian Auto Expo, which will be held in February 2014. We believe that the facelifted Vista would go on sale before the advent of next fiscal.
The updated Vista, all thanks to a set of new bumpers, would be marginally longer than the current model and the car is also expected to feature a new grille and new headlamps. It seems very possible that the car will get a much sharper face that will no longer sport the traditional ‘smiley face’ and will instead come with a more sporty looking headlight and grille setup.
The biggest change however, will lie at the rear. The 2014 Tata Vista will not sport the typical X-Mas tree styled taillamps and would instead get more conventional units. The registration plate housing too would move upwards and on to the rear hatch.
Engine options, in all probability, would be carried over from the current model. However, expect them to be bestowed with minor tweaks for improved fuel efficiency.
