Land Rover launches I AM DRIVEN contest

Land Rover has launched the “I AM DRIVEN” contest inviting contestants to share their passion showing that they’re driven. Contestants can submit their pictures and videos illustrating their spirit of being driven to the next level. The contest is already underway having started on the 4th of November 2013 and would conclude on 15th of December 2013. The winner gets a day of unparalleled driving experiences in the All New Range Rover Sport during an all-expenses-paid trip to the Land Rover Experience Driving School at Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel, California.

The Land Rover I AM DRIVEN contest has already gone viral with people submitting their share of stories through pictures and videos. As part of the campaign, a video has been released of Ocean-based Explorer and Scientist Sonya Baumstein who supported by Range Rover, became the the first person to stand up paddleboard across the Bering Strait. Then there is the duo of David Lang and Eric Stackpole who explain as to why they created a low cost underwater exploration robot and how they use it to explore Hall City Cave in the Trinity Alps.

Commenting on her successful feat Sonya says “I feel like the spirit of adventure is being lost in America, that we need to make an act of decision to choose adventure. I’m driving on this mission particularly because there’s an element of the unknown; because people say it’s something it can’t be done.”
