Lamborghini Aventador SV

Lamborghini Aventador SV teased in new video

After the Miura, Diablo and the Murcielago, the hardcore Super Veloce (SV) badge will be back this year with the Aventador. Lamborghini has given a whiff of the Aventador SV with a teaser video which says this is the “most reactive car”, which according to a tweet by the Italian manufacturer means that this Lambo is faster than the speed of thought. But the car will be so good, all of this is actually believable.

The latest SV will benefit from a lot of carbon fiber licked aerodynamic upgrades, among which will include a reworked front and rear bumper, a massive diffuser, and it won’t lack the fixed, huge rear wing that the Murcielago SV so proudly brandished. The mid-mounted quad exhaust setup seems will be retained, while the alloy wheel design will be all-new.

Regarding the power upgrades, the stock power output of close to 700 horsepower has already been fettled to 720 horsepower for the Aventador 50th Anniversario editions, so in the SV, expect the 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 to pack some more muscle, closer to the 750 horsepower territory. The supercar will also be significantly lighter and louder than stock. The Lamborghini Aventador SV will mark its global premiere at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March.
