Lamborghini introduced the Aventador LP700-4 almost three years back. So, it’s about time that the company comes up with a new, refreshed version.
Now, although the company has not come out with an official announcement, Team Salamone – from Gumball rally fame – is claiming they have ordered the first Aventador SV. According to them, the model will be introduced in months from now and production will occur shortly afterwards.
The Lamborghini Aventador SV is likely follow in the footsteps of the Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce and feature an aggressive body kit, a minimalist interior and a number of weight saving measures. The engine is also expected to have an upgrade.
The current Lamborghini Aventador is powered by 6.5-litre V12 engine that churns out a whopping 700bhp and 690Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all the wheels via 7 speed ISR gearbox. The Aventador hits a ton mark in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h. What do you think of the speculations? Do share your thoughts through comments below.
