Kawasaki reveals 2011 Ninja ZX-10R with design sketch, teaser video

The European motorcycle industry seems to be on a resurging with the likes of BMW, KTM and Aprilia gaining critical ground in important markets over the past couple of years. The Japanese, even with a significant lead in terms of sales, have begun developing some creases on their foreheads with the challenge thrown in by the Westerners.

But you cannot keep the masters of the art of creating power machines down for too long. And the first of the Japanese big four (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki) to announce that it has gone back to the drawing board to create something totally mind blowing is the Green Brigade.

You got it right, Kawasaki has revealed the design sketch of its next-generation Ninja ZX-10R litre class scorcher, and should we say, we are impressed with its utterly sporty and aggressive lines. The new machine is being designed and developed from the scratch and will sport a new engine, a new frame, a new suspension, and a new spirit when it hits the market later next year. The bike will also get an upgraded electronics package to stay abreast with the latest challenge thrown in by the Europeans in the form of the S1000R. Here’s a teaser video of the bike from Kawasaki

So what do you think of the new design? Like it? We would love to know your views about the bits you like and the bits you loathe. Be a design critic, let Kawasaki know where they are going wrong aesthetically. Please leave a comment and share your views.
