Kawasaki Ninja ZX RR Limited Edition

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR India Launch Reportedly Scheduled on March 11

Kawasaki revealed its Homologation special Ninja ZX-10RR back in October last year at the 2016 INTERMOT show. The limited edition model with the RR badge will only be available in Winter Edition black paintjob. In latest news, the Kawasaki ZX-10RR is expected to arrive on Indian shores on March 11, 2017. What does the RR version bring to the table?

The new model with the RR moniker features a modified cylinder head which can be installed with higher lift racing camshafts and new reinforced crankcases which would be available to order along with Race Kits. The tappets on the ZX-10RR get DLC coating which are aimed at reducing friction.

The stock wheels from the standard ZX-10R are replaced by lightweight 7-spoke Marchesini rims. Now while the Marchesini wheels come wrapped in the same 120/70 R17 and 190/55 R17 rubber from the standard model, they are claimed to offer faster acceleration, braking, and direction changes.

Apart from that, the ZX-10RR gets bi-directional Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) which offers smooth up and down shifts. The ZX-10RR’s features six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) along with a long list of rider aids such as sports traction control, electronic engine brake control, launch control, intelligent anti-lock brakes and Kawasaki’s KCMF cornering management function.

As aforementioned, the motorcycle is expected to arrive on March 11, 2017. We’d keep you posted about the latest happenings on that front. Meanwhile, do let us know your views about the Kawasaki ZX-10RR through the comments section below.
