Kawasaki Motorcycles quietly launched the KLX 110, an entry level off roader in India at a price of Rs. 2.8 Lakhs, ex-showroom, Pune. Designed for dirt track or off road use, this pocket rocket isn’t road legal. It is an ideal bike for young kids around the age of 15 years wanting to indulge in off-roading. The bike will come to India as a CBU unit and will be available in the lime green color only.

The KLX 110 is powered by a 112 cc air cooled single cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed transmission. It measures 1560 mm in length, 650 mm in width and 955 mm in height. The seat height stands at 681 mm and the wheelbase measures 1074 mm. Fuel tank capacity is limited to 3.7 litres while suspension duty is performed by a 30 mm telescopic fork upfront and a swingarm with monoshock at the rear end.

Drum brake units at both ends take care of the braking responsibilities. The product will be imported from Thailand and hence procuring spare parts wouldn’t be a worry. The premium pricing of this model from the Kawasaki stable is bound to keep its fan base limited. Meant to be sold only in limited numbers, the bike isn’t going to be of much use for the mainstream enthusiasts, but will offer a great option to the enduro fans to practice their skills with.
