Jaguar has launched the Aero-sport edition of the XF saloon in India. This new addition to the existing XF range adds further cosmetic appeal of the luxury saloon and the gets a rear spoiler, ‘R’ style side sills, a reworked front fascia with a slightly redesigned front bumper, and chrome surrounds for the all-black front grille (as opposed to a full chrome unit on the regular XF).

The Jaguar Aero-sport edition will be made available in four colours; Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Sapphire Blue and Odyssey Red. This special edition of the Jaguar XF will be powered by the same 2.2-litre four-banger diesel engine that’s also found under the bonnet of the regular XF saloon. The engine belts out 190 PS of power at 3500rpm and 450 Nm of twist at 2000rpm, and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Features on the XF Aero-sport include touch-enabled colour screen with navigation, power sunroof, automatic climate control, powered front seats etc.

Jaguar’s XF lineup in India also includes the XF 2.0L petrol, XF 2.2L diesel and the punchy XF 3.0L V6 diesel. All these models reach our shores via the CKD route and are manufactured at Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) Pune plant. Jaguar’s new XF Aero-sport will cost you INR 52 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai, pre-octroi).
