Jaguar Land Rover is commencing production of the Jaguar XF saloon at its facility in Pune, India. The initial Pune-built Jaguar XF models will feature the company’s acclaimed 2.2-litre diesel engine, which is coming to the Indian market for the first time. The Jaguars will be built alongside Land Rover Freelander 2 vehicles which have been produced in Pune since May 2011.

The locally built Jaguar XF 2.2-litre diesel car comes with an array of standard features such as: rear view camera, TV Tuner, navigation System, front passenger seat away, touch screen, gear shifting paddles, full size spare wheel, electric sunroof, rear screen electric blind and eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jaguar XF features significant enhancements for the 2013 model year. Key features across the 2013MY XF range are: rear view camera, TV Tuner, navigation system, optimized audio and navigation controls, front passenger seat away, touch screen, gear shifting paddles, full size spare wheel, electric sunroof and rear screen electric blind. Jaguar claims significantly improved efficiency through a newly expanded powertrain range. Eight-speed transmissions are now mated to all engines.

The much acclaimed 2.2 i4 Td offers 190PS of power with a torque measure of 450Nm. This version also benefits from engine management refinements that reduce emissions and improve fuel economy.
