Even after more than two decades, many enthusiasts hold the Fat Boy as the quintessential symbol of raw power and old-school style.
The Hardtail look blended into the Softail model makes the Fat Boy look like a piece of art with an untamed mechanical appeal. The unrestrained beauty of the mechanics of the Fat Boy has placed it among the most celebrated motorcycles of all time. The monochromatic paint scheme and the rumble of the Twin Cam has mesmerized an entire generation of motorcycle enthusiasts. Each Harley-Davidson Fat Boy is as unique as the logo on its tank, which has remained the same throughout its history.

The logo on the original 1990 Fat Boy aka “Gray Ghost” was slightly different than any other since, it sported one of the seven yellow rings placed on the bike. The history of the Fat Boy makes for interesting reading. I was lucky enough to find a 1990 original in excellent condition.
