IAF Riders on Hero Impulse Post New World Record

It has emerged that 5 riders from the Indian Air Force have been recognized by the Limca Book of World Records for successfully crossing as many as 10 Himalayan passes in just 51 hours!! The Officers used Hero Impulse on/off road motorcycle for posting the new world record. The 15 member team from IAF comprised of Warrant Officer Goutam Dhar Gupta, JWO Vikram Singh Yadav, Sgt. Ravinder Singh Rawat, Sgt. Tejinder Singh Kapoor and Sgt. Madan Mohan Reddy.

The gutsy team from IAF bettered the previous record of riding up to 20,493 feet by riding to 20,540 feet.

The team commenced riding Leh on May 16 and the record breaking ride concluded on May 20. The team rode through Marsimik La, Khardung La and Chang La, Tanglang La, Horlam La, Lachulung La, Nakee La, Baralacha La, Rohtang and Jalori.
