Hundreds of superbikers to ride together to Gurgaon on Sunday

we're one

All for one brotherhood. One brotherhood for all.

With this motto, hundreds of superbikers shall ride to Gurgaon on Sunday, the 31st of March, 2013. The bikers, who will be belonging to different motorcycle clubs and will be riding different bikes, will come together for one common cause, the biking brotherhood.

On the 31st of March, 2013, Bikers for Good, a Delhi-based biking club will launch the WE’RE ONE 2013-14 Calendar. WE’RE ONE is a one-of-its-kind initiative that will happen for the first time in the history of India. For the first time different motorcycling clubs as well as leading motorcycling brands shall come together on one common platform and will make a statement of unity.

“As bikers, we keep meeting each other on the road. Once in a while, two or three motorcycling clubs also come together for a one-off ride, but then, these rides are rare and limited to a duration of 3-4 hours. We wanted to do something different and long-lasting,” says Mohit Ahuja, Founder, Bikers for Good.

The WE’RE ONE Calendar has been joined by leading superbiking clubs like Born 2 Ride Motorcycle Club, Free Riders Motorcycle Club, Brotherhood Motorcycle Club as well as cult brands like Harley Davidson, BMW Motorrad and Aprilia Racing. In addition to this, there will also be an array of bikes displayed at Cooper’s Grill and Bar, the venue for the event. The Calendar will be unveiled by Dr. Arun Thareja, better known as Dr. Speed, the Founder of Group Of Delhi’s Superbikers (GODS), which is India’s biggest superbikers club.

“I have been riding for more than 17 years now. We bikers have always talked about the brotherhood, but it is for the first time that we shall get to see it come together for good”, says Ikjot Singh Bhasin, Founder of Born 2 Ride Motorcycle Club.

Moreover, on the day of the launch, Bikers for Good is also giving a platform to 7 independent artists, consisting of photographers, motorcycle customizers, a stand-up comedian and a musician.

In just one and a half years of its existence, Bikers for Good has grown to a 2000+ member strong biking community. It is the only motorcycling club in India that rides solely for social causes.
