Honda recently launched the 8th generation of its popular CG series of motorcycles in Brazil.

The 2014 Honda CG125 Fan and the 2014 Honda CG150 Fan and Honda CG150 Titan get all new styling, modern engines and new chassis.

All the three new bikes get similar styling and interestingly, some common design cues between the CG150 and the CB Trigger can be traced.

The CG150 Fan gets both electric start and front disc brake but comes with spoked wheels. The CG150 Titan gets all the features of the CG150 fan and also comes with alloy wheels. All the new bikes in CG series get digital instrumentation.

Powering the new Honda CG125 Fan is a 125cc, 4-stroke, air cooled, single cylinder petrol engine that has a max power output of 11.6bhp and a peak torque figure of 10.3Nm. The CG150 Fan and Titan variants are powered by a 150cc fuel injected single cylinder flex fuel engine that has a max power output of 14.3 bhp and a peak torque figure of 14.21 Nm.

Sales of the new bikes would commence in September.

  1. Thank God I dont live in Brazil. I guess the design language is very heavily impacted by the local taste and culture. This design would be an utter flop in India though would be loved in Indonesia and SE asia. Such diversity.
