Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) today introduced two new grades of Honda Mobilio- the V(O) & the RS(O).
These two new variants of the mid-size MPV will feature Audio Video Navigation (AVN) and Rear View Parking Camera, a first for the segment. The V(O) grade, positioned above the existing E, S and V grade- both Petrol & Diesel will sit at top of the chain, while the visually sportier RS(Diesel) variant of the Mobilio will have an additional RS(O), again featuring the AVN and Rear Parking camera. The RS and the RS(O) will be available from mid-September 2014 onwards. The newly introduced grades will also feature some wood on the dashboard and Door Armrests inside.
More on the Honda Mobilio’s Audio Video Navigation system- for starters, there’s a fairly large 15.7 cm Touch Screen which is loaded with maps, satellite-based voice guided navigation, and complete in-car entertainment and connectivity features (DVD/CD, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/AM.The system also comes with an integrated Bluetooth communication function which allows the user to sync their phones with it and implement functions on the screen including dialling, answering, history, address book and Bluetooth music play. The built-in navigation features an intuitive and suggestive keyboard.

The Honda Mobilio range shall now spawn as many as 10 variants. The Mobilio will be available as E, S, V and V(O) (New) in both Petrol & Diesel, while the Mobilio RS with its sporty and aggressive visual intents will be available as RS and RS (O) in Diesel.
The Diesel Mobilio powered by the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine delivers a maximum power of 100 ps@3600 rpm, maximum torque of 200 Nm@1750 rpm and a fuel economy of 24.5 kmpl as per test data. The Petrol Mobilio with 1.5 L i-VTEC petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 119 ps@6600 rpm, maximum torque of 145 Nm@4600 rpm and a fuel economy of 17.3 kmpl.
The prices (ex showroom New Delhi) of the newly introduced grades of Honda Mobilio MPV are:-
1.5L V(O) MT (Petrol) – Rs 9.46 lakh
1.5L V(O) MT (Diesel) – Rs 10.45 lakh
Mobilio RS(O) Diesel – Rs 11.55 lakh
