Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India experienced an overall sales growth of 44% (YoY) in February 2014. HMSI sales in February 2014 stand at 328,521 units. HMSI scooter sales grew by 47% and motorcycle sales in 40%.
HMSI Domestic market share is 26% while Domestic Exports is 23%. Both witnessing a 6% jump YOY basis.
Also, Honda has announced its 4th plant at Gujarat in 2015. Honda also kick started unique service initiative for it’s customers across the country ‘Service on Wheels’.
