Hero Motocorp lists Xtreme Sports on their website, deliveries commenced a fortnight ago

Although the Hero Xtreme Sports was launched in November last year, it is only now that it has been officially listed on the largest two wheeler manufacturer’s website. We even confirmed that deliveries of the motorcycle began a fortnight ago. Available for an on-road price (Mumbai) of Rs 83,691 for the front and rear disc brake variant, the Xtreme Sports can also be bought with a single disc up-front, at Rs 80,243 (on-road Mumbai).

Although it is powered by the same 149.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor from the current Xtreme, Hero Motocorp has tried to justify the ‘Sports’ tag by bumping power, up from 14.2 bhp to 15.2 bhp, and from 12.8 to 13.5 Nm. What also differentiates the Hero Xtreme Sports from its vanilla variant is a newer set of graphics, ‘Sports’ logos on the fuel tank extensions, a split seat, an under body cowl, a new sporty instrument console and a revised exhaust canister. The fairing and head-lamp have also been tinkered with, while a pair of LED pilot lamps complete the show.
