We reported when the mighty Hennessey Venom GT recently posted a new world speed record for two-seat sports cars by registering a top whack of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). Now, the car maker has revealed its plans of coming up with the new Hennessey Venom GT World’s Fastest Edition to commemorate the latest achievement.
The new Hennessey Venom GT World’s Fastest Edition, as can be seen in this image we have here, sports a bespoke paint scheme that features colours of the American flag. The production of the latest limited edition model will be restricted to just three units and the car has a price tag of $1.25 million! All three of these models have already stand sold!
Powering the Hennessey Venom GT is a 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that has a max power of 1,244 bhp and peak torque of 1,565 Nm. The Venom GT hypercar boasts of aluminium construction, carbon-fibre bodywork and carbon-ceramic brakes, all of which work together to bestow the car with an unbelievable power to weight ratio!
